Overview
We are seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Construction Laborers. In this role, you will play a vital part in various construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work sites are safe and organized. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of job sites to ensure a safe working environment.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under the supervision of experienced tradespeople.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled workers to complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout the project duration.
- Help with the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to minimize risks on-site.
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and demonstrate a positive attitude towards work.
