Duties
- Operate various hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to assemble components accurately according to technical drawings and production documents
- Manage manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, to move materials safely within the production line
- Use forklift equipment when necessary to transport raw materials or finished goods within the warehouse or manufacturing floor
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise assembly and mechanical fitting of parts
- Follow safety protocols rigorously, adhering to safety standards in production environments and participating in process safety improvements
- Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements for lean manufacturing practices
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with manufacturing management policies
Experience
- Previous factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with assembly line operations and production workflows
- Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
- Knowledge of interpreting technical drawings and technical documentation related to manufacturing processes
- Experience with forklift operation and warehouse procedures is a plus
- Understanding of safety standards in production environments, including manual handling and heavy lifting protocols
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment managing production or assembly tasks under tight deadlines
- Basic mechanical knowledge combined with a proactive attitude toward process improvement and safety compliance
