We are a fast growing premium dog treat manufacturer in Ontario Ca, and we are currently hiring a Quality Technician to join our team! The QA/QC Lab Technician must be able to perform any job in the Quality area of responsibility to ensure that all products/quality testing are produced safely, efficiently and meet all quality standards as set forth by the company. Open Shifts are 1st and 2nd
**Training will be in the morning shift for at least 2-3 weeks**
What you'll do:
- Identifying raw material conditions including collecting samples, conducting inspections and analyzing samples.
- Identifying in process conditions including collecting samples during production, conducting inspections and analyzing samples.
- Determining disposition of finished product including collecting, classifying, analyzing and interpreting production and quality data and judging product acceptability in comparison with specifications.
- Documenting finished product status including recording and summarizing raw material, in process and finished product inspection and test data, updating quality assurance data base.
- Maintaining product quality documentation system.
- Maintaining quality assurance operations including following quality assurance policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
- Completing operational requirements including scheduling and following up on work results.
- Maintaining quality control laboratory operation including inventorying, ordering, receiving and stocking of all needed supplies.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by enforcing compliance with all applicable procedures, GMP’S, HACCP, FDA and company's rules and regulations.
- Ability to work under adverse Hot and Cold weather conditions
What we're looking for:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality control laboratory
- Preferred experience in Food manufacturing industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, and Word

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
