Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with various medical conditions, ensuring adherence to established clinical protocols and standards.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed health histories, to inform individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, following strict aseptic techniques and safety guidelines.
- Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, catheterization, tube feeding management, and wound care with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for accurate documentation of patient information and medical records management.
Experience
- Recent 3+ years of experience in MedSurg.
- RN CA State License.
- BLS Certification.
- ACLS Certification.
- NIHSS Certification.
- Cerner & Epic Experience within the last 5 yrs. (Preferred)
