This position combines dishwashing, bussing, cleaning, and general restaurant support to help keep the kitchen and dining areas clean, organized, and running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and restaurant equipment.
- Clear, clean, sanitize, and reset tables promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, kitchen, dish area, and other assigned areas.
- Sweep and mop floors throughout the restaurant as needed.
- Empty trash and replace liners.
- Restock dishes, utensils, napkins, condiments, and other supplies.
- Assist servers and kitchen staff during busy periods.
- Help maintain clean and organized bussing and dishwashing stations.
- Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
- Complete assigned opening, closing, and side-work duties.
- Notify management of safety hazards, spills, equipment issues, or supply needs.
- Perform other restaurant support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience is helpful but not required; we are willing to train the right person.
- Dependable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, lift, and carry items up to 50lbs throughout the shift.
- Must be available to work scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
