Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that every guest has an exceptional dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times.
- Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times accurately to guests.
- Assist with guest inquiries and ensure their needs are met promptly.
- Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle any guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service, particularly in food service or restaurant settings, is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
