Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PART TIME Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, communication disorders. You will work directly with children in school settings.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve speech and language skills.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Provide guidance and education to student, teachers, and their families regarding communication strategies.
- Document student progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies.
Skills
- Expertise in speech therapy techniques and methodologies.
- Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments effectively.
- Familiarity with pediatric care practices, particularly in school settings.
- Knowledge of special education requirements.
