Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of banquet and catering events, ensuring timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items promptly to ensure a steady flow of service.
- Help with inventory management by organizing food supplies and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Familiarity with banquet service standards is a plus.
