We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Assistant General Manager to lead and oversee daily hotel operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this pivotal role, you will ensure exceptional guest experiences, manage hospitality teams, and uphold the highest standards of service excellence. Your leadership will drive operational efficiency, revenue growth, and team development, creating a welcoming environment that guests love. Duties
- Oversee all aspects of daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance to ensure smooth functioning.
- Lead and supervise hospitality teams, fostering a positive work environment focused on teamwork, motivation, and professional growth.
- Manage hospitality operations budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and control costs.
- Ensure hotel guest service standards are consistently met or exceeded by implementing best practices in guest relations and service delivery.
- Utilize property management systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation systems to optimize booking processes and guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and promptness to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with human resources on staffing needs, training programs, and performance evaluations to maintain a high-performing team.
- Conduct regular audits including night audits and review of financial operations to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop marketing strategies that increase occupancy rates and revenue streams.
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations, hotel policies, and legal requirements while promoting a safe environment for guests and staff.
Skills
- Proven supervisory experience within the hospitality management sector, demonstrating leadership in managing teams and operations.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management principles including revenue management, budgeting, human resources, and financial operations.
- Expertise in using property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, multi-line phone systems, and other property technology tools.
- Excellent managerial communication skills to motivate staff, coordinate departments, and liaise with stakeholders confidently.
- Exceptional customer service skills with an emphasis on creating memorable guest experiences aligned with hotel standards.
- Experience in overseeing daily hotel operations such as front desk management, night audits, and guest relations.
- Ability to manage hospitality operations budgets effectively while maintaining profitability goals.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teams to deliver high-quality service consistently while fostering a positive work environment.
- Knowledge of human resources practices including hiring, training, performance management, and conflict resolution.
