Farmington Brewing Company is a microbrewery and taproom located in the heart of downtown Farmington. Our taproom is a communal, beer hall seating environment with no kitchen where our staff can focus on serving our own locally made craft products while fostering a communal relationship here in Farmington. We're looking for people with experience in hospitality and an enthusiasm for craft beer.
Applicants must have availability from 3pm-11pm Tuesday-Friday and anytime Saturday and Sunday.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Take drink orders and serve beverages in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations
Skills:
- Strong hospitality skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Proven experience in bartending or a related role
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems for order processing and cash handling
- Understanding of different brewing methods and knowledge of various types of alcoholic beverages
Tap room staff is paid a tipped wage and tipped out through pooling. Listed pay is an average of shift earnings by the hour.
