We’re seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with strong IV skills to join our close-knit clinical team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident with venipuncture, attentive to detail, and genuinely enjoys building trust with patients in a calm, outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform IV insertions with a high level of skill, including patients with difficult access
- Administer IV fluids, medications, and therapies as ordered
- Monitor patients during and after treatments to ensure safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and clinical assessments
- Support clinical operations including referrals, authorizations, and patient triage
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in South Carolina
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (infusion, outpatient, ER, ICU, or similar preferred)
- Proven IV therapy experience with strong venipuncture skills (required)
- Experience with injections, IV site management, and medication administration
- Strong patient assessment skills with the ability to identify and respond to adverse reactions
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control standards
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric patients
- Familiarity with EMR systems
- Excellent clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Clear communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
- Ability to work independently in a small-practice setting
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday
- Strong hand coordination and dexterity for IV insertion and injections
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
- Visual acuity for both near and distance tasks, with the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to clearly communicate, assess, and educate patients
Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
