Construct and/or install equipment according to plans.(7) Keep all refrigerators operating at the proper temperature to keep foods safe(8) Operate all steam and hot water boilers and monitor all operating parameters(9) Inspect boiler tubes and clean as necessary(10) Monitor and inspect heating and cooling systems to ensure continued proper operation(11) Locates, picks up, and delivers pats required for department needs(12) Assesses drain problems and performs any needed repairs(13) Installs humidifiers into system and connects water and drain pipes(14) Determines amount of airflow required to keep carbon dioxide at a safe level; ensures this level ismaintained(15) Assist other tradesmen or perform other essential duties in conjunction with other trades.(16) Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean working environment(17) Perform other incidental tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of this position as directedPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequentlyand/or up to 20 pounds of force as needed to move objects.Moderate physical effort requiring long periods of standing, bending, stooping, periodic lifting of moderatelyheavy items and routine discomfort from exposure to moderate levels of heat, cold, moisture, and air pollutionJob Description Supplement Code: 8TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the Districts approved compensation plan.Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by the District.
