We're hiring a skilled Equipment Operator to assist with underground utility installation projects including water, sewer, gas and storm drain systems.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate heavy equipment (excavators, backhoes, trenchers, skid steers)
- Dig trenches, prep job sites, and assist with pipe installation
- Read and follow construction plans and utility markings
- Work closely with the crew and follow direction from foreman
- Perform basic equipment checks and maintenance
- Follow all safety guidelines and help maintain a clean, organized site
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of trenching and underground utility procedures
- Able to work outdoors in various weather and lift 50+ lbs
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
