Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a 5 Axis Machinist at O&Y Precision, Inc. The 5 Axis Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines Such as Matsuura MX-850 And Doosan DVF-6500, reading blueprints, and performing quality checks on machined parts, adjusting machine parameters, and ensuring the accurate production of parts within specified tolerances. ONLY SET UP AND OPERATE 5 AXIS. no programming.
Qualifications
At least 5 years Experience in setting up and operating 5 Axis CNC machines
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and performing quality checks
- Ability to produce parts within specified tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of machining various materials such as aluminum, steel, and plastics
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
