Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive individual who takes pride in their work and possesses strong cleaning skills, including experience in commercial and industrial settings.
Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Carry out custodial duties including trash removal, dusting surfaces, and sanitizing high-touch areas.
Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the integrity of the building.
Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to meet the cleaning needs of the facility.
Qualifications
Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
