Work Location: Los Angeles, CA 90011
Contract: 6month contract with opportunity to keep getting extended
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts/week (Day or Night shift)
Pay: $43-48/hour
Summary: The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care to adults or children in a psychiatric in-patient care unit.
Specifications / Experience:
- A graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and a current State of California license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- A current CPR/CPI Certification.
- Baccalaureate or Master’s Degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing can be substituted for one or two years experience respectively.
- At least one (1) year’s experience working with emotionally or mentally disturbed clients, preferable in a psychiatric healthcare environment
- Ability to perform tasks involving physical activity which may include lifting, bending and standing.
