Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a freight broker in a 3PL environment
- Hands-on experience with Flatbed and Heavy Haul freight
- A proven ability to prospect, close, and retain customers
- Strong understanding of freight pricing, lane dynamics, and carrier relationships
- Confident communicator — phone, email, and face to face
- Self-motivated, accountable, and driven to grow a strong customer base
The Position: We are looking for a 3PL Freight Broker specializing in Flatbed and Heavy Haul to join our growing team. You will prospect, price, negotiate, book, and cover shipments from start to finish — cradle to grave. You will be responsible for growing a strong customer and carrier base, backed by our experience, tools, and 40-year reputation. This is a permanent, in-office role in Glen Rose, TX for a broker who is hungry, experienced, and ready to grind and grow. You will have the support and mentorship of our Flatbed Director, who is invested in your success and will be with you every step of the way. As your customer base grows and your plate fills up, we will bring in dedicated carrier sales and dispatch support so you can stay focused on developing new business and continuing to grow — not get buried in operations.
