This part-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist role offers the chance to grow your skills and leave a lasting impact supporting a mild-to-moderate student caseload at one conveniently assigned school.
You'll work onsite two full days each week, providing evaluations, direct intervention, and collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff to help students reach their fullest potential. Your expertise will be valued as you serve preschool through high school students, tailoring interventions to individual needs in a supportive academic environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Active Colorado Department of Education Certification
- Current Colorado SLP License (Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Therapist, or Speech Connectionist for ages birth–21)
- Previous school-based SLP experience highly valued
- Commitment to completing timely background check and fingerprinting
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive SLP services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Maintain detailed, accurate records and progress documentation
- Collaborate closely with school staff and families to foster student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Support the district in compliance with state and federal regulations
