What You’ll Do
- Perform advanced interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, embolization, and filter placement
- Support neurological, vascular, genitourinary, and pelvic studies and procedures
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and PACS systems
- Ensure sterile technique and infection control practices during procedures
- Set up and prep for procedures, including equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with the team on patient care and procedural planning
- Adhere to safety protocols and assist with emergency response when needed
What You Need
- Valid ARRT and BLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of IR experience, with neuro experience mandatory for all techs
- Proficiency in angiography, embolization, vascular stenting, and other specialized procedures
- Experience with fluoroscopy, GE Innova, Siemens systems, and patient positioning
- Ability to maintain equipment, supplies, and sterile field
Preferred:
- Additional ARRT certifications (CI & VI)
- Experience with advanced vascular and genitourinary procedures
About the Assignment
Join a dynamic team at a prominent hospital in Charlotte, where you will be instrumental in providing high-quality interventional radiology services. This position involves performing complex vascular, neurological, and genitourinary procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The unit specializes in stroke intervention, intracranial embolization, carotid stenting, nephrostomy, biliary placements, chemo embolization, and more, supporting a volume of approximately 450 patients daily.
