Duties:

Manages the UH Hilo Pharmacy and dispenses medications to students covered by the Title X grant for family planning services, as well as those who do not have insurance, transportation, or the financial means to access medications in a timely manner.

Maintains inventory and recordkeeping for medications. Works with Medical services to order medications.

Maintain 340 B status and compliance.

Dispenses medication s according to Hawaii State Law.

Educates patients on the use, risks, benefits, side effects of medications dispensed.

Maintain HIPPA compliance according to Hawaii State and Federal laws.

Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy Practice from an accredited university.

Must hold a current Hawaii State Pharmacist License in good standing.

Proven experience working as a licensed Pharmacist.
