Senior Oracle SQL Data Analyst (Onsite)
Location: Atlanta, GA
Work Arrangement: Onsite (Only qualified candidates located near the Atlanta, GA area will be considered.)
Position Summary
The Senior Oracle SQL Data Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting SQL solutions for operational reporting, research, executive decision-making, legislative reporting, and strategic initiatives. This role works extensively with large, normalized Oracle transactional databases, where approximately 70–80% of the work involves writing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
This is not a traditional Business Intelligence or dashboard development role. The ideal candidate will be able to independently analyze business requirements, identify the appropriate database tables and relationships, and develop SQL solutions from scratch without relying on pre-built analytical models or AI-generated SQL.
Note: Candidates must report onsite on Day 1 for orientation and equipment pickup. Equipment will not be shipped.
Key ResponsibilitiesOracle SQL Development
- Develop, maintain, and optimize complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programs
- Write simple and complex SQL queries from scratch against normalized Oracle transactional databases
- Create efficient, reusable, and well-documented SQL code
- Optimize SQL queries for performance and maintainability
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SQL solutions
- Extract, validate, transform, and analyze operational data

Database Automation
- Develop and maintain automated SQL processes

Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
