Tri-Con, Inc. is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Transport/Bobtail Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of petroleum products to commercial and retail customers while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Transport/ bobtail truck in compliance with all DOT, federal, state, and company regulations.
- Deliver gasoline, diesel, lubricants, and other petroleum products to customer locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.
- Load and unload products using proper safety procedures.
- Verify delivery quantities and complete delivery paperwork accurately.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company in a courteous manner.
- Report vehicle maintenance issues, safety concerns, or incidents promptly.
- Follow all environmental, safety, and hazardous material handling procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazardous Materials (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements (or X endorsement).
- Current DOT Medical Certificate.
- Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen, background check, and pre-employment physical.
- Previous fuel delivery or commercial driving experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
