Job Overview
Are you ready for Change? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician's (RBT) to join our team. The RBT's will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for clients with behavioral health needs. This role is essential in providing support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring they receive the highest quality of behavioral interventions. We are expanding and are looking for three RBT's to work wither part time or full time, whatever fits your life. We value creativity, fun and team support. Our clients are all part of our weekly swim program (paused Dec to April) and yoga program to work on various self regulation skills. We provide services in our center Monday through Friday with paid team buildings scheduled every three months and case review scheduled throughout the month. We prefer credentialed RBT's but will train and invest into the right person that wants an exciting career switch and is interested in working with kids. All sessions are in center, currently our kids range are from 2-8 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors accurately.
- Assist in developing care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including homes, schools, and community environments.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical documentation.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to reinforce treatment strategies.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Monitor client behavior and provide behavior management techniques as necessary.
Skills
- Proficient in understanding and implementing care plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, and medical documentation processes.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors using appropriate behavior management strategies.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support individuals in achieving their personal goals.
