Qualifications:
· High school diploma and equivalent (Technical School Certification Preferred)
· Minimum 2 years CNC machine operational experience
· Mechanical aptitude
· Familiarity with basic hand tools
· Ability to read / interpret engineering drawings.
· Attention to detail.
· Ability to lift 50lbs.
Position Responsibilities:
· Must be able to operate CNC machining centers, such as mills and lathes, as well as manual machines.
· Read and understand basic CNC terminology (M and G Codes)
· Make and revise CNC programs manually / by hand at the machine.
· Able to perform set-up on all machines.
· Knowledge of processes such as drilling, milling, tapping, boring, and turning tools
· Inspect own work using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
· Working in a production capacity, must be able to run dozens of different jobs with some lasting weeks at a time.
· Responsible for maintaining equipment and basic troubleshooting.
· Maintain a clean, safe workplace.
