American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience for a 13-week acute care assignment performing cardiac, SPECT, bone scan, and other nuclear medicine studies.

Acute care hospital setting in a Nuclear Medicine department with 1 scanner
-
Common studies include cardiac, SPECT, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying
-
Average of 5–10 scans/studies per day
-
Uses GE equipment, Cerner EMR, RadNet, and Merge Unity PACS
-
8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
-
Rotating weekday on-call after 4:30 PM and rotating weekend call

Rotating on-call holiday coverage required
-
May be required to float to a sister facility approximately 6.5 miles away

Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience

Active BLS and CA Nuclear Medicine Technology License (NMTL) required; pending licenses or certifications will not be accepted

License required if applicable

A driver's license is required for consideration

2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Teal scrubs required

Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered

12-hour orientation provided

Radiologist is on-site; department is led by a Lead Tech
