American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Stepdown position in the Knoxville, TN area, requiring at least 1 year of stepdown experience and Cerner proficiency.

Med/Surg Telemetry Stepdown Unit at an acute care hospital in the Knoxville, TN area

Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

13-week contract

Patient ratio of 5:1

Active RN license in Tennessee or a compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the start date)

Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in a stepdown or med/surg telemetry setting

Cerner EMR experience required

Travel nursing experience preferred
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Valid driver's license required for consideration

Royal blue scrubs required; white, royal blue, or black t-shirt may be worn under the scrub top

Advanced Learning Center modules required for all travelers

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
