Responsible for program development, goal development, assessments and data collection, will serve as a unit leader, and will participate as an interdisciplinary team member in the process of developing and implementing individual plans for each unit member. The largest part of the duties will be working direct care in one of the work areas.
Qualifications: must include at least the equivalence of one year of full-time experience working directly with persons with developmental disabilities or related conditions, in addition to: a bachelor's or associate of arts degree in a human service field, including special education, vocation rehabilitation, psychology, social work, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, speech communication, gerontology, education, child development, recreation therapy, human services, or related field. Must have excellent oral and writing skills. A writing sample will be required as part of the interview. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Hours: Full-time hours. Typical hours will be Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., but these hours may occasionally vary.
Wage Rate: $46,066 yearly non-exempt salaried position. Benefits include: vacation leave, sick leave, personal time, and medical, dental, and life insurance available.
