We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lead Hood Cleaner to oversee the cleaning and maintenance of commercial kitchen exhaust hoods. In this vital role, you will lead a team to ensure all ductwork, filters, and hoods are thoroughly cleaned and maintained according to safety standards and industry regulations. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of hood cleaning technicians, assigning tasks and ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
- Perform thorough cleaning of kitchen exhaust hoods, ducts, filters, and related equipment using manual tools, pressure washing, and industrial cleaning techniques.
- Utilize ladders safely for elevated work, adhering strictly to safety protocols and using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate various cleaning equipment including hand tools, pressure washers, floor buffing machines, and duct cleaning tools to achieve optimal results.
- Conduct outdoor work in different environments, ensuring proper manual handling of heavy lifting tasks and maintaining safety at all times.
- Implement safety procedures such as fire extinguisher use, proper disposal of waste materials, and adherence to industry-specific safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, inspections, and safety checks; communicate effectively with clients about service status and any issues encountered.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Experience in team leadership
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting (50 lbs or more) and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Need to be comfortable working on a roof
