Technician, Early Childhood Education Teacher - Preschool: Projected start date - 06/01/2026
Technician, Early Childhood Education Teacher - Infants: Projected start date - 08/03/2026
Under the supervision of the Mentor Teacher, implements a developmentally appropriate program for children ages 3 months to 5 years in accordance with Center policies and procedures. Responsible for maintaining a safe and stimulating educational environment, guiding and modeling behavior for children and college students, implementing lesson plans, record keeping, establishing effective relationships with parents, and promoting a positive classroom environment.

Assists with assessments of children and supervision of college students

Oversees and performs housekeeping duties as needed

While performing the duties of this job, the employee has frequent required physical activities which include sitting (including sitting on the floor) and ability to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move children weighing 25-30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to supervise a room or playground full of children (which includes distance vision and scanning abilities).
