Job Title: Manual Machinist
Location: Pine Brook, NJ
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Manual Machinist to join our team in Pine Brook, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on machining skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to producing high-quality precision parts.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual machine tools including lathes, mills, grinders, and related equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Hold tight tolerances and ensure quality workmanship
- Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Perform machine adjustments and basic maintenance as needed
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of manual machining experience
- Strong knowledge of manual machining practices and shop math
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to and from our Pine Brook, NJ location
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay:
BOE starting at $25/hour
Benefits:
PTO, Sick Days, Vacation Days
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm. Overtime available when needed as per management
