Twinkle Little Stars Early Education Center is looking for a caring, dependable, and engaging Lead Toddler Teacher to lead a small classroom serving children ages 2-3.

What You'll Do
As our Lead Toddler Teacher, you'll take the lead in creating a warm, structured, and engaging classroom where toddlers can safely learn, explore, and grow.
You'll:
- Plan fun, age-appropriate learning activities and experiences
- Support children's social, emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development
- Create consistent classroom routines that help children feel safe and confident
- Lead and support assistant teachers and classroom staff
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Keep families informed about their child's development and daily experiences
- Maintain required classroom records and documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming, and licensing-ready classroom
- Participate in professional development and center activities
- Work collaboratively with center leadership and fellow educators

Basic Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a high school diploma or recognized equivalent
- Have experience working with young children in a group setting
- Meet Delaware requirements to serve as a Lead Teacher or have qualifying education, credentials, training, and experience
- Be able to meet Delaware child care licensing and employment requirements
There Are Multiple Ways to Qualify

Qualifying education and credentials may include:
- TECE 1 and TECE 2
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Delaware Child Care Worker Apprenticeship
- Qualifying college coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, and Positive Behavior Management
- Approved vocational/technical Early Childhood program
- Qualifying Montessori credential
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, Elementary Special Education, Child Psychology, or another qualifying field
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in another field combined with qualifying early childhood coursework and experience
Some qualification pathways require additional experience working with children from birth through second grade in a group setting.
