Road Logistics Coordinator

Role
Receive, investigate and respond to all customer inquiries regarding shipments, products and complaints. Input phone/ email orders and relative data into the TMS by performing various duties.
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers by phone or email.
- Receive bookings via e-mail or direct integration to our TMS (Transportation Management System) of EDI or E-Booking orders.
- Securing resources (trucks) with our carrier partners
- Confirming booking with the shipper, consignee or both.
- Making any necessary appointments for pick up or delivery.
- Follow up to ensure all shipments are moving according to schedule.
- Communication of any deviation from the planned transport.
- Ensure all statuses related to the transportation KPI’s required by each customer are captured.
- Initiate file maintenance for corrections for service requested.
- Solicit sale of new or additional services.
- Handle difficult customer issues in a courteous and professional manner.
- Obtain customer feedback information.
Skills and Experiences
- Must demonstrate an ability to make decisions, handle difficult situations, possess a keen sense of urgency, have the ability to handle multiple tasks and be decisive in decision making.
- High school diploma or higher level of education.
Shift and Pay Rate $18-$18.50
6 am - 6 pm or 6 pm to 6 am
days off depends on availability
