Since launching Rheem’s sustainability initiative in January 2019, our program has expanded to include our air and water businesses across the globe. To support our ever-growing sustainability efforts, we are looking for a strategic, forward-thinking professional with excellent analytical and project management skills. She/He will contribute to advancing sustainability activities across the enterprise, with the ultimate goal of meeting our 2025 sustainability goals while improving sustainable product sales and market share. She/He will primarily focus on supporting product and operational sustainability efforts, reporting directly to the Sustainability Engineering Manager, who is responsible for managing these initiatives globally.
The Enterprise Sustainability Analyst will demonstrate strong self-starter characteristics and the ability to collaborate globally across various functions including product, marketing, engineering / R&D, facilities, and operations. The Enterprise Sustainability Analyst will assist with measuring, tracking, and analyzing sustainability metrics for both internal reporting and external marketing purposes. She/He will assist the Sustainability Engineering Manager on global sustainability projects like Zero Waste to Landfill, greenhouse gas/carbon footprint reductions, and customizing product sustainability elements for specific markets/product categories. This role will generally serve as a sustainability contact to fulfill miscellaneous requests from the global product, operations, and R&D teams. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail. She/He is results-oriented, skilled at liaising with cross-functional stakeholders, and enjoys managing a variety of projects with strategic guidance.
This position will serve Rheem North America , located in Atlanta, GA, Lewisville, TX, Oxnard, CA, Fort Smith, AR, Montgomery, AL, or Indianapolis, IN. This role follows our hybrid work arrangement, with team members working in the office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays.
Bachelor’s degree with a strong preference in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, environmental sciences, etc.).
3+ years of experience in wide-ranging operational sustainability, environmental science, and/or engineering roles.
Familiarity with GHG Accounting, Life Cycle Assessments, and Environmental Management standards.
Experience with global manufacturing companies and/or companies with geographically and functionally diverse operations.
Excellent analytical and project management skills.
Strong critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to identify solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Organized and motivated; superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and thrive in a collaborative and team-oriented environment to accomplish objectives.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with an aptitude for breaking down complex ideas into simple terms.

Note that global travel may be required to execute sustainability programs outside of HQ, including our co-manufacturing partners and suppliers.

The pay scale for this position $71,172 - $113,940. Please note all pay ranges are broadly stated and any final offer is dependent on factors such as location, direct experience, market guidance and internal equity, among other qualifying criteria.
