Empire Building Diagnostics is seeking a commercial driver with an existing CDL. Roll-Off experience a plus, driver will be tasked with driving roll-off trucks as well as making deliveries to job sites as needed. Looking for a driver with a positive attitude to grow with our company in the Buffalo area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Roll Off Drivers typically work weekdays (Monday through Friday). Empire Building Diagnostics Roll Off Drivers typically begin work at 6:00 am each day or at a time designated by the supervisor.
Expectations:
- Work safely, professionally and efficiently with other drivers, customers, supervisors, and landfill staff.
- Hook/Unhook load at delivery and pickup
- Tarping of all loads- with Auto-tarper.
- Occasional realignment of loads prior to tarping.
- Filling out load reports or other paperwork legibly and accurately each day.
- Handling deliveries of small equipment and helping job sites get set up.
- Prior construction site experience preferred.
- Turn in proper paperwork each day by the designated time.
Required Training/ Prerequisites:
YOU MUST HAVE A CDL CLASS B FOR THIS POSITION.
You must have at least 2 years of commercial driving. You must pass a Pre-Employment DOT physical, as well as a drug test.
Education and Certifications:
Commercial Driver's License - Copy must be provided with application.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 – 31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45-50 per week
