Qualified Professional (QP)/ Associate Professional (AP) Job Description
Summit Support Services of Ashe Inc is hiring a Qualified Professional (QP) or Associate Professional (AP). This is an administrative position coordinating services for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. QP MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in the human services field, such as Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or related area, and two years of professional experience working with people with developmental disabilities; or a degree in a non- human service field and 4 years related experience. Experience needs to have been supervised by a Qualified Professional.
AP MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Candidates with a Bachelors Degree who do not have the professional experience can be considered for hire as an Associate Professional. They would work under a QP and would need to possess the same minimum qualifications.
A Qualified Professional (QP)/ Associate Professional (AP) is classified as a professional level position. The position requires a broad and extensive knowledge of developmental disabilities. The applicant must be a team player and demonstrate positive, compassionate interaction skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,800.00 - $49,400.00 per year
