Housekeeping Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Housekeeping Worker to join our short term rehabilitation/long term care facility in Jamaica, NY. The housekeeping worker will perform routine cleaning tasks to help keep our building clean and functional for residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Stripping, waxing, buffing and cleaning the floors.
- Remove all trash from resident's rooms, bathrooms, shower rooms, offices and storage rooms
- Sweep and mop all resident's rooms, offices, storage rooms, closets, resident's dining rooms and corridors daily.
- Keep the facility clean
Qualifications:
- Must have stripping, waxing and buffing experience.
- Must have flexible availability.
- Must be able to multitask in a fast pace environment
- Must be able to stand for prolonged amount of time and lift heavy objects as necessary.
Schedule:
- Full- time/ Part-time; 3PM-11PM & 11PM-7AM
