Job Summary
The Safety & Security Associate helps create a safe, secure, and welcoming campus where guests, tenants, staff, and community members of all backgrounds feel comfortable and can enjoy everything The Jones Center has to offer. This role leads with excellent customer service — greeting people warmly, offering a hand, and being a friendly, approachable presence throughout the facility — while keeping a constant, watchful eye on surroundings and activity in the assigned area. The Associate provides the security detail outlined in the post orders, helps everyone follow proper safety procedures, and identifies and addresses hazards before they become problems. Building positive relationships is central to the job, whether with the guests we serve every day or with our partners in local law enforcement and fire departments. This position requires flexibility for after-hours and weekend events, along with availability by personal cell phone or similar device as needed.
