American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least one year of experience and a current state license for a 13-week assignment in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Position is based in a critical access hospital with 25 beds
-
Caseload includes both inpatients and outpatients across swing beds, ICU, Med/Surg, orthopedics, and cardiac cath lab units
-
Level IV trauma emergency room environment
-
Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Work schedule may include some weekend and holiday coverage as required by the department
-
Scrubs required with no specific color

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
-
Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience required

Current state Occupational Therapy license required if applicable

Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross
-
National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy required; AOTA and OTAC preferred
-
Workplace violence prevention training (DCI/BVP) must be completed
-
Role may involve care of COVID patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
-
Multidisciplinary team environment with support from various hospital units

Holiday and weekend shifts may be assigned based on departmental needs

Candidates may be considered regardless of local or travel status, as local pay rate is the same
