Satoshi Ramen Shop is bringing authentic Japanese ramen culture to Burlingame — with bold flavors, handcrafted broths, and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences. Our mission is simple: serve incredible ramen, deliver honest hospitality, and build a warm, community-focused restaurant where both guests and team members feel valued.

Your Responsibilities
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, and sanitation in the kitchen at all times.
- Support daily ramen preparation including broth prep, tare, toppings, cutting ingredients, marinating meats, and portioning.
- Assist with cooking support tasks — assembling bowls, preparing garnishes, and coordinating with the ramen line.
- Learn kitchen systems such as noodle cooking timing, plating standards, station setup, and kitchen flow.
- Handle dishwashing, equipment cleaning, wiping counters, sweeping, mopping, and end-of-day breakdown.
- Restock ingredients and maintain proper labeling/rotation (FIFO).
- Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing storage areas.
- Adapt quickly during busy service periods and support teammates where needed.
- Follow food safety standards and uphold all health department regulations.

Schedule / Shifts
- Prep Shift: approx. 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Dinner Shift: approx. 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Priority Consideration: We will give priority to candidates who have open availability and can work every day.

Experience
- Kitchen: 1 year (Preferred, not required)
Language

- Japanese (Conversational or Fluent preferred) (Ability to communicate with our Japanese-speaking team and understand authentic ramen preparation terms.)
