Landart Solutions is seeking an experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead installation crews on residential and commercial landscape projects. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who can lead by example, maintain quality standards, and keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
You will report directly to the Operations Manager and oversee landscape installation, hardscape, irrigation, and maintenance work while supervising and developing crew members.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise landscape installation crews on daily job sites
- Train, motivate, and work alongside team members
- Install trees, shrubs, plants, sod, irrigation, and hardscape features
- Read and interpret blueprints and landscape plans
- Operate heavy equipment including skid steers and mini excavators for grading, trenching, and excavation
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and small-engine equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, trucks, and trailers
- Complete daily job reports and crew timesheets using company software/apps
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet company quality standards
- Communicate regularly with the Operations Manager regarding project progress and field needs
- Enforce company safety policies and PPE requirements
- Travel overnight when required
Qualifications
- 2+ years of landscape installation experience
- 1+ year of crew leadership or supervisory experience
- Knowledge of plant identification, irrigation systems, sod installation, and hardscape construction
- Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, and landscape equipment
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding outdoor work
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 30 and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain within the first 60 days
