Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality garments and textile products efficiently and accurately. Duties
- Operate various types of industrial sewing machines to assemble, repair, and finish textile products according to specifications.
- Follow detailed work orders and production schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain the sewing equipment by performing routine cleaning, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and finished goods within the warehouse or production area.
- Document production activities accurately and report any issues or discrepancies promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in garment construction and sewing machine operation within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with various sewing machines, including industrial models suited for heavy-duty textiles.
- Strong understanding of sewing techniques, patterns, and quality control procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, work orders, and specifications clearly.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for material handling and inventory management.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision and consistency.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
