Senior Commissioning Manager - Electrical Testing & Commissioning

We're seeking an experienced commissioning leader to oversee electrical testing and commissioning operations for complex mission-critical and industrial power projects.
This is a leadership role responsible for managing commissioning engineers and technicians, driving project execution, building strong client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest technical standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead electrical testing and commissioning projects from planning through closeout
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of commissioning engineers and technicians
- Serve as the primary technical and client-facing leader during project execution
- Oversee the testing and commissioning of switchgear, transformers, protective relays, control systems, and other critical power equipment
- Drive quality, safety, and operational excellence across all projects
- Identify opportunities to improve commissioning processes and team performance
You'll Be Successful If You Have
- A proven track record leading electrical testing and commissioning teams
- Deep expertise in electrical power distribution, testing, and commissioning
- Experience delivering complex projects while building strong client relationships
- The ability to mentor engineers and technicians while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Working knowledge of NETA, NEC, NFPA 70E, and other applicable industry standards
- NICET, CCP, or similar industry certifications are highly desirable
- Willingness to travel as projects require
