We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and EXPERIENCED builder/Cabinet maker/woodworker using all wood working tools/equipment and has experience building and interest in all types of wood projects from cabinetry to houses. We highly value work ethic and positive mind sets and looking for the right builder who will help us continue to grow and build into a top design/retail manufacturing company in the US.
This is a fast pace retail manufacturing position that will be assisting the head of builds and work with a growing team. Projects include complete store retail design build to building individual retail fixtures and even building for client expos onsite for large conventions. We build anything from cabinets, cash registers, tables, custom fixtures, product display units, etc. We travel several times a year to build our convention booths for our clients. Last year we built a 2 story mini saloon that a band played on and models showed off clothing on. We are a lean shop and are looking for someone who knows or wants to learn Lean manufacturing. Responsibilities and Activities
- Build and testing of prototypes
- Assist with the design of prototypes to be mass produced
- Painting, sanding, and finishing of wood products
- Packaging of finished goods and palletizing for shipment
- Independent builder in manufacturing and production
- Maintaining, cleaning, fixing all shop tools and equipment
- Utilizing all building tools such drills, sanders, table saws, track saws, CNC machines, paint sprayers, edge banders, routers, bandsaws, chain saws, etc.
- Assist in managing material/supply quantities to ensure items are present on time and quantities are not too much or too little
Minimum Qualifications
- Hard working and positive attitude
- Trainable and ready to learn and participate in a LEAN culture
- Proficient with woodworking/building tools
- Knowledgeable about and able to work with all types of wood
- Cabinetry and some fine wood working experience
- Previous experience in a shop environment

Pay: $20.00 - $36.00 per hour
