Experienced Service Plumber
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Service Plumber to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a skilled plumbing professional with strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent customer service skills, and experience servicing residential and commercial plumbing systems. A Journeyman license is preferred but not required for candidates actively working toward licensing requirements.
The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship while providing exceptional customer service. This role offers the opportunity to work independently, diagnose plumbing issues, recommend solutions, and perform repairs in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Perform routine plumbing maintenance, inspections, and service calls.
- Identify plumbing issues involving water, drainage, fixtures, piping, and water heaters.
- Communicate findings and recommended solutions clearly and professionally with customers.
- Prepare accurate estimates for repairs and replacements.
- Complete approved repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
- Participate in an on-call rotation as required.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and support the continued growth of the service department.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Plumber license preferred; candidates actively working toward licensure are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum of 4 years of residential and/or commercial plumbing service experience.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to identify repair and replacement opportunities and confidently present solutions to customers.
- Experience preparing accurate job estimates.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, water heaters, drainage systems, and related equipment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with both residential and commercial service plumbing.
- Experience with boilers and hydronic heating systems.
- Familiarity with field service management software.
- Previous experience with service sales and educating customers on repair options.

Schedule
