Position Overview
SkyBridge Aviation is seeking Warehouse Clerks / Inventory Material Control Associates to support a growing aerospace manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, processing incoming materials, and ensuring production teams have the parts and supplies needed to meet build schedules.
Candidates must be flexible to work overtime, weekends, and shift changes as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, process, and organize incoming shipments and materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records and required stock levels
- Pick, kit, and deliver materials to support production work orders
- Perform inventory counts and quantity verification checks
- Monitor inventory levels and document discrepancies or losses
- Enter inventory and material data into company systems
- Complete basic SAP and MES transactions
- Assist with clerical duties including data entry and internal customer support
- Prepare inventory reports and documentation for supervisors
- Support training efforts for team members as needed
- Follow company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous warehouse, inventory, logistics, or material control experience is preferred but not required
- Detailed organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and learn new processes quickly
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Basic computer skills and data entry experience preferred
- Precise attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and crouching
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to maintain hand-eye coordination and perform repetitive tasks
- Full range of motion required to safely perform job duties
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment
