Qualifications
- 2 year’s of welding experience required
- Pipe Welding 6G Certified preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must have a valid US Driver's License
- Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen
- Must be able to pass a Background Check
- Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Records Check
Compensation
- Weekly pay
- $23 .00 - $26.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings & weld symbols
- Join beams in the construction of buildings, bridges, and other structures
- Fitting and welding of structural steel pipe, plate & sheet metal
- Fabrication and welding of structural steel.
- Must be able to pass 6G certification
- Interpret specifications, diagrams or schematics
- Ensure clean weld joints and defect free work
- Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness.
- Must be able to read micrometers, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
- Must be familiar with standard welding concepts, practices and procedures, and have good troubleshooting skills.
Job Description:
1. Perform specific tasks
- Weld structural steel including pressurized water pipe of various dimensions
- Successfully read and understand project drawings
- Understand and execute proper elevation control and alignment
- Perform quality sandblasting
- Ability to drive large trucks
- Understand and use specialized fabrication equipment
- Use forklifts and overhead cranes
- Understand and meet budget and schedule requirements
- Ensure final quality appearance
2. Follow safety and quality standards
- Wear correct PPE
- Follow OSHA standards and site-specific safety plan
- Minimize rework by following quality standards and guidelines.
3. Complete required safety and timecard documentation
- Accurately clock in and out electronically daily via Key Style
- Turn in safety Think Forms daily
- Turn in weekly corrective action (Near Miss) reports
- Turn in daily reports on Teams
4. Complete assigned trainings
- Weekly Toolbox topics
- Daily job-specific safety meeting
- Complete technical trainings as assigned
