Position Summary
We are seeking a Lead Data Entry Technician who is experienced, reliable, and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency. This individual will oversee data entry operations, ensure timely and correct prescription processing, and support a dedicated team of technicians.
The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced pharmacy setting. PioneerRx experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily prescription data entry workflow to ensure accuracy and timely completion.

Enter and verify prescription, patient, and insurance information in PioneerRx or equivalent pharmacy software.

Review incoming orders for completeness, legibility, and compliance.

Act as the primary contact for troubleshooting and resolving data entry issues.

Train, mentor, and guide new data entry technicians.

Collaborate with pharmacists, operations, and billing teams to maintain seamless workflow.

Monitor productivity and quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement.

Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, URAC, ACHC, and all state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Support internal audits, special projects, and process optimization initiatives.

Requirements:
Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of pharmacy data entry experience (LTC or specialty pharmacy preferred).

Experience with PioneerRx is highly preferred.

Active Pharmacy Technician license/certification (state-specific).

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
