Overview
Solo pediatric office looking for PART-TIME medical assistant. This would be a job-share position with the currently employed medical assistant.
Clinic hours to be filled: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday: 08:30 am to 4:30 pm. No evening or weekend hours.
Minimum degree requirement: Medical Assistant certificate.
Must have prior medical office experience; be comfortable interacting with pediatric-aged patients; have excellent communication skills; and have basic knowledge of office machines, including desktop computing, multi-line telephone, copier, scanner, and fax machine.
Candidate will be responsible for checking patients in for provider; taking vital signs; triaging patients over the phone, and for completing in-house lab tests along with preparing lab specimens for sending out to off-site lab facility.
Candidate will also be responsible for all aspects of vaccine management, including their administration, storage, and inventory; along with their documentation in the medical record and in VacTrAK.
Rate of Pay: Dependent on prior experience and candidate's skill profile.
Pay: $23.75 - $28.60 per hour
