Job Description: Licensed Journeyman Pipefitter / Welder
Contrast Mechanical is an established, employee-owned (ESOP) mechanical contractor with over 30 years of experience serving Southeast Michigan. We specialize in commercial and industrial mechanical systems and are known for steady, year-round work, professional jobsites, and strong field leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Install, assemble, and maintain commercial and industrial piping systems (hydronic, steam, chilled water, process piping, etc.)
- Read and interpret drawings, specs
- Layout, fit, and install piping systems accurately and efficiently
- Work independently or lead small crews as needed
- Coordinate with other trades and project supervision
- Maintain jobsite safety and workmanship standards
- Represent Contrast professionally on every jobsite
What We’re Looking For
- Commercial / industrial pipefitting experience
- Strong understanding of piping systems, codes, and best practices
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve in the field
- Dependable, professional, and takes pride in clean work
- Willingness to mentor apprentices when needed

Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour
