Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve breakfast and lunch items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, and feedback promptly
- Clear tables, bus tables, and assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed
- Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage seating arrangements effectively
Requirements
- Proven experience as a breakfast or lunch server in a fast-paced restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell and build guest rapport
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time efficiently during busy service hours while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in fine dining, nightclub, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and order accuracy
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
